My wife Erica created Really Random Reviews as an offshoot of her “Technology Nerd” branding. She wanted a separate YouTube channel for reviewing less tech-based items, such as toys, candy, and other foods (or anything really). Considering this, I let the motto “content is king” guide my design decisions.
The minimalistic and monochromatic style allows the logo to exist alongside diverse colors; also, the 8-bit aesthetic hints at Erica’s technical roots while evoking the inherent fun factor of video games.
