Watch Figuratively

Figuratively was my ambitious YouTube series about action figures and figurines. For the logo, I wanted thick, boldly-shaped letters reminiscent of comic book titles. I decided to draw and illustrate each letter instead of using a font. For the color scheme, I wanted something fun, saturated, and high-energy. The one word that repeatedly came to mind was “grapefruit.”

Video is not my forte, but I spent several hours animating the introduction and the button graphics in AfterEffects. Editing was done in Premiere Pro. The music was licensed from Audio Jungle.
